He did this after doing the Friday Safari (5/2/2021) at the Baiturrahman Mosque, Seberang Ulu II District in the afternoon, when he heard that a local resident was cultivating a booming betta fish, HD immediately rushed down a small alley where the betta fish was cultivated. local residents. Accompanied by the Head of the South Sumatra Province Fisheries and Maritime Affairs Office, Widada, HD visited Betta fish cultivators at Riduan Gallery Cupang.

In this place Herman Deru saw firsthand Riduan’s way of cultivating betta fish. After reviewing Riduan’s small businesses, HD said that he was very supportive of the creative efforts of his residents. Although it looks simple, he believes this method is able to make residents survive in the midst of a pandemic. He also encouraged residents to imitate what Riduan and his friends had done.

“That’s why I brought the Head of the Fisheries Service. I want the residents who cultivate this fish to be given convenience. Even coaching so that the fish produced is of higher quality and their business is more advanced, including helping with marketing,” said HD. He also wants the fisheries sector like this to be developed seriously so that in the future South Sumatra can become an area that exports quality betta fish abroad.
