SumselDaily – Governor of South Sumatra Province H. Herman Deru Receives Management of the Association of Indonesian Journalists (PWI) of South Sumatra Province (Sumsel), in the context of gathering and inviting the Governor to attend the Regional Sports Week (Porwada) at the South Sumatra provincial level in Lubuklinggau City 7-9 April.
At the event, there will also be journalism seminars, journalists’ sports week, social services, and the awarding night for press figures and figures who have contributed to the progress of the press, especially in South Sumatra. At its peak, the Governor of South Sumatra H. Herman Deru will attend and will provide a grant of one PWI operational car from the South Sumatra Provincial Government.
According to him, the South Sumatra Provincial Government appreciates and provides full support for the continuation of the event, in order to increase the synergy that exists between the South Sumatra Provincial Government and the South Sumatra PWI. “This is a form of our concern from the South Sumatra Provincial Government to South Sumatra PWI for smooth and success together. I will be there later, “he said.
Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the South Sumatra PWI, Firdaus Komar, in commemoration of the 2020 HPN, will hold a series of activities starting from Healthy Walk on December 1, which will then be followed by HPN and Regional Journalists Sports Week (Porwada) next April. “HPN in South Sumatra will be centered in the city of Lubuk Linggau. There we will also hold Porwada as well as handover awards to figures concerned with the press. For the smooth running of this activity, we are looking forward to the support of Governor Herman Deru,” he added.
